1948
The Tödi Sport company was established by Hans
Fischli to manufacture rucksacks, ski-sticks and ski skins.
1955
A prototype for a promising «metal ski»
was produced but financial reasons made it impossible to start manufacture.
1960s
First developments and innovations in the ski skin
sector

The colltex® brand was introduced
1970
Move to new business premises in the Postgasse, Glarus
1975
Move to Nordstrasse in Glarus after the fire in the Postgasse
1978
Tödi Sport AG was established
1978
Cooperation with Edi Koch GmbH of Innsbruck. Manufacture and marketing
of colltex® products in Austria and
Germany.
1978
Cooperation with Nic-Impex SAS of Annecy/Cedex. Marketing
of colltex® products in France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Norway, Italy, Spain, Japan, Andorra, Canada and the USA.
1979/1980
The company headquarters at Buchholz, Glarus were built and the firm
moved into them.
1980
The millionth pair of colltex® adhesive
ski skins was sold.
1982
Hans Fischli, founder of the company, died at the age of 67. His
son, Werner Fischli, took over the management of Tödi Sport AG
Late 1980s
Launch of colltex® mix, a resistant
adhesive ski skin.
1998
Manufacture of «waisted» adhesive ski skins
2003
Our anniversary year: 45 years of Tödi Sport; 35 years of colltex®;
